Our students had the privilege of attending the first of seven School Retreat Days at St Patrick’s Cathedral. Set within this historic and inspiring setting, the day provided a valuable opportunity for reflection, discussion and personal growth.
The retreat was led by Christian Irish Youth Department (CIYD), alongside cathedral staff and youth workers from the Dublin Diocese. Through engaging sessions, our students explored stories from the Bible, reflected on the life of St Patrick and considered how these themes connect with their own lives and experiences.
The day concluded with time in a thoughtfully created prayer space designed by Prayer Spaces in Schools, allowing students a quiet and meaningful space for reflection.
It was a unique and enriching experience for our school community and we are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a special day.
