Fundraiser for My Lovely Horse Rescue

Students in Ms Ryan’s Form 2 CSPE class at The King’s Hospital School recently organised a successful bake sale in support of My Lovely Horse Rescue, raising a total of €160 for the charity.

As part of the initiative, members of the organisation visited the school, bringing along some of their rescue dogs, including a lively Chihuahua and four elegant Lurchers. The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to learn more about animal welfare, rescue work and the importance of responsible pet ownership.

The bake sale not only showcased the students’ organisational skills and teamwork but also highlighted their commitment to making a positive impact in the community. The funds raised will go directly towards supporting the ongoing care and rescue efforts of My Lovely Horse Rescue.

Well done to all involved in a meaningful and engaging initiative.
