The King’s Hospital School recently hosted a series of Personal Safety workshops led by Alex Walsh, Director and Senior Instructor of Personal Safety Ireland.
Alex Walsh brings extensive experience to his training, having served over 20 years as a UK Metropolitan Police Officer. Through Personal Safety Ireland, he delivers highly interactive and practical workshops focused on safety awareness, self-defence strategies and conflict resolution skills for schools, businesses and community groups across Ireland.
During the workshops, students engaged in hands-on activities designed to build confidence, improve situational awareness and develop effective strategies for responding to challenging or unsafe situations. The sessions encouraged active participation and provided students with practical tools to support their personal safety in everyday life.
The school extends its thanks to Alex Walsh for delivering such engaging and impactful workshops, which were both informative and empowering for students.
