We were immensely proud of the Class of 2026 and their outstanding Leaving Certificate results. Their hard work, dedication and perseverance were reflected in a fabulous set of achievements, with students securing excellent results and progressing towards the universities and courses of their choice.
A total of 109 students sat the Leaving Certificate examinations and the Class of 2026 achieved results that compared very favourably with national figures, with a particularly strong performance among students attaining the highest CAO points.

- 12 students achieved 600 points or more, with six receiving the maximum of 625 points.
- Our School Captain scored a standout result of 8 H1s, an exceptional academic achievement.
- 48% of students achieved 500–625 CAO points or more, double the national average of 12%.
- 35% of students achieved 400–500 CAO points or more, compared with the national average of 22%
These statistics highlighted the strength and consistency of the year group’s performance. We were delighted to see so many students reach their potential and earn the results needed to pursue their chosen academic and career pathways.
The destinations of the Class of 2026 reflected the ambition, talent and diverse interests of our students. Almost half of the year group progressed to Trinity College Dublin, University College Dublin or Dublin City University, while others took up places at Technological University Dublin, the University of Galway and other universities across Ireland.
Students also explored opportunities beyond Ireland, with some choosing to study abroad. Others embarked on gap years, apprenticeships and alternative pathways, reflecting the variety of opportunities available to our graduates.
We were particularly pleased to see students secure places on highly competitive courses and achieve prestigious academic recognition. Notable destinations included Pharmacy at Imperial College London and a special congratulations went to Aryell Sheedy, who received a prestigious Naughton Scholarship from Trinity College Dublin. This was a wonderful recognition of Aryell’s academic ability, dedication and potential in STEM.

As part of the award, the school also received a €1,000 contribution towards STEM initiatives, supporting the continued development of science, technology, engineering and mathematics education for our students. We were delighted that Aryell’s achievement brought this additional benefit to the school community and helped create further opportunities for future students.
The achievements of the Class of 2026 were a source of tremendous pride for the entire school community. From exceptional CAO points and maximum Leaving Certificate scores to prestigious scholarships and exciting opportunities at home and abroad, our students demonstrated what could be achieved through hard work, determination and ambition.
We extended our warmest congratulations to every member of the year group and thanked the teachers, parents and guardians who supported them throughout their journey.
We wished all our graduates every success and happiness as they began the next chapter of their lives. They left school with much to celebrate, and we looked forward to hearing about their future achievements.
