The King’s Hospital School equestrian team enjoyed a fantastic week of competition and success at the prestigious 157th Balmoral Show in Lisburn, one of the biggest and most competitive equestrian events on the island of Ireland.
Representing KH with great pride were Rosie, Maya, Abigail and Brooke, who combined brilliantly to secure an impressive 5th place overall for Team KH in a highly competitive field.
There was also excellent success in the individual Working Hunter classes, with students delivering superb performances throughout the event:
- 🥇 Maya — 1st Place
- 🥉 Brooke — 3rd Place
- Strong performances in the Working Hunter class: Lillian, Sophie Rose, Chloe and Clara.
These achievements continue what has been an exceptional year for KH equestrian, with students consistently competing and succeeding at major national competitions across Ireland and the UK.
Congratulations to all of our riders on their dedication, talent and sportsmanship throughout the Balmoral Show. Everyone at KH is incredibly proud of your achievements and the way you represented the school on such a prestigious stage. A very special thank you to Michelle Barry for all of her commitment, support and guidance as our Chef d’Equipe — your encouragement and leadership mean so much to the entire team.
