It was wonderful to welcome the Archbishop to the school for this year’s Confirmation service. The occasion marked an important milestone in the faith journey of ten of our second-year students, who were confirmed during the ceremony.
Congratulations to Mimi, Roslyn, Leon, Nicholas, Robert, Sky, Andrew, Alexander, Emma and Annbelle on receiving the sacrament of Confirmation.
The students had been preparing for this special occasion since Christmas, taking time to reflect on and deepen their understanding of their faith before making this important commitment in their lives.
Parents, godparents and friends gathered together to support and celebrate with the students on the day. During the service, the Archbishop spoke about Confirmation as an opportunity not only for the candidates, but for everyone present, to reflect on the commitment they make to God and to their faith.
Following the ceremony, the celebrations continued with tea and refreshments for all those attending, providing a wonderful opportunity for families and friends to come together and mark the occasion.
We thank the Archbishop for leading such a meaningful service and congratulate all of our Confirmation candidates on this important step in their faith journey.
