KHPA’s Blue Coat Day Fundraiser

The King’s Hospital Parents Association (KHPA) is delighted to announce that a total of €905 was raised for the Scholarships for Gaza Initiative during this year’s Blue Coat Day celebrations.

This year, alongside the festivities, the KHPA chose to support the Scholarships for Gaza Initiative, an organisation dedicated to helping young people from Gaza continue their education despite the immense challenges they face. Founded in 2024, the initiative connects students with mentors, scholarship opportunities, and application support, helping them access higher education pathways around the world. The programme has grown rapidly into a global network supporting hundreds of aspiring students.

The €905 raised by the King’s Hospital community will contribute to these efforts, helping students pursue educational opportunities and build brighter futures through learning. The donation reflects the school’s values of compassion, inclusivity, and service, while demonstrating the willingness of the wider King’s Hospital community to support meaningful causes beyond the school gates.

The KHPA would like to extend its sincere thanks to everyone who contributed to the fundraising effort, whether through donations, volunteering, or supporting the day’s activities. Every contribution helped make a difference.

Blue Coat Day once again proved to be more than just a celebration of school spirit—it was an opportunity for the community to come together in support of a cause that highlights the transformative power of education.
