KH Student Shines in International Indoor Hockey

KH student Aoife (F5) continues to make a name for herself in international indoor hockey after being selected to compete with The Irish All Stars, a team made up of talented players chosen from across Ireland by the Irish Women’s Indoor coaching staff.

Aoife has enjoyed an incredible two years competing at a high international level. In December 2024 and again in December 2025, she travelled to South Africa to participate in the prestigious PSI (Pro Series Indoor) Tournament, widely regarded as the largest indoor hockey tournament in the world. The competition featured teams from across Africa alongside international sides from countries including New Zealand, Namibia and Ireland.

Following the South African tournaments, Aoife and her teammates travelled to Amsterdam to compete in another elite indoor tournament featuring the South African U18 National Team and premier club teams from across Amsterdam. Later this month, the Irish All Stars will travel to London where they will compete against some of the top indoor hockey teams from across England.

Aoife is currently involved in the trial process for selection for the 2026/2027 series of international tournaments, which will once again begin in South Africa this December.

This is a fantastic achievement for Aoife and reflects the hard work, commitment and talent she continues to show both on and off the pitch. Everyone at KH is extremely proud of her achievements and we wish her the very best of luck in the upcoming trials and tournaments.
