The Careers and Guidance Department, in collaboration with the KHPA, hosted a truly wonderful Careers Evening on Tuesday for F5 and F6 students.
The event brought together an exceptional group of volunteers and supporters from across the King’s Hospital community, including current and past parents, recent leavers, Governors, staff, members of the PPU and friends of the school. Their willingness to give so generously of their time, experience and expertise made the evening both engaging and highly informative.
Students had the opportunity to explore a wide range of career paths, with representatives from diverse sectors. These included traditional industries such as banking and law, alongside fields like healthcare and enterprise. Emerging and specialised areas such as forensics, engineering, cyber security and apprenticeships were also well represented, ensuring that students could gain insight into both established and evolving career opportunities.
In addition, seven universities attended the event, providing valuable guidance on further education options and helping students to better understand the pathways available to them after school.
The evening was met with overwhelmingly positive feedback from parents, volunteers and past pupils alike, reflecting the value and impact of the event. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to ask questions, make connections, and begin to shape their future ambitions.
A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed to making the evening such a success.
