International Women’s Day at KH

The KH community celebrated International Women’s Day with a week of events organized by the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, including an IWD Quiz, a guest speaker on activism, politics and the referendum, senior choir performances, and a bake sale.

Councillor Janet Horner from the Green Party addressed the students in the chapel with an empowering speech. She highlighted the importance of making your voice heard and taking an active role in democracy.

The senior choir treated us to a performance of nothin gonna stumble my feet” in the chapel.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Bake Sale, in aid of the Malala fund; and organisation investing in education programmes for girls.

Special thanks to Emma Regan, and the Diversity & Inclusion Committee for making it all possible.
