On the 11th and 12th of March 2025, the KH Green-Schools Committee led an inspiring school-wide initiative to promote the benefits of walking, as part of our final push for the Green-Schools application.
Over the course of the two days, students and staff collectively walked an incredible 375 kilometres—a powerful display of our commitment to sustainability and active travel. The walking route took participants on a scenic loop from the Sports Hall, past the Library and Brooklawn, around the Barn, and back through Reception.
In addition to the walks, both junior and senior assemblies focused on the importance of active travel. These thoughtful sessions were enriched with uplifting hymns and readings in Chapel, reinforcing our shared values and the importance of collective action.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and supported the event. By walking together, we made more than just steps—we made a statement for a healthier, greener future.
