Darkness Into Light 2023, the annual walking event and fundraiser, brought hope and unity to Ireland on Saturday, May 6th.
At 4:15am, participants walked or ran 5km to meet the sunrise, symbolising the end of darkness and the promise of a brighter tomorrow.
Since its inception in 2009 with just 400 participants, the event has grown to over 150,000 each year, providing a powerful opportunity for people to support their community and those affected by suicide.
This year, Canon Campion and members of his Chapel Committee joined in the beautiful morning event, moved by the uplifting music and the collective spirit of hope and healing.
