Our boarding students enjoyed a fantastic day of celebration on St. Patrick’s Day, embracing the spirit and traditions of Ireland with a trip to the local parade in Celbridge.
The parade was a lively and colourful event, filled with music, floats, and community groups, all coming together to celebrate Irish culture and heritage. Our boarders thoroughly enjoyed the festive atmosphere, joining the crowds as they watched the procession pass through the town.
It was a wonderful opportunity for students—especially those from overseas—to experience one of Ireland’s most important national celebrations firsthand. From the sea of green to the sounds of traditional music, the day was full of energy, pride, and community spirit.
The outing provided a chance for boarders to connect with local traditions, spend time together outside of school, and create lasting memories. It was a truly enjoyable and meaningful way to mark the occasion.
