TY Reptile Haven Workshop

Transition Year students stepped well outside their comfort zones today as they took part in a fascinating hands-on workshop introducing them to a range of unique and wonderful creatures.

During the session, students had the opportunity to learn about a variety of reptiles, including corn snakes, cobra snakes, geckos, lizards and even Sally the tortoise. They discovered more about each animal’s natural habitat, feeding habits and origins, gaining a deeper understanding of these often misunderstood species.

The workshop was both educational and highly enjoyable, giving students a chance to experience something completely different while building confidence and curiosity about the natural world.

Well done to all involved for embracing the experience and making the most of this exciting learning opportunity.
