A Celebration of Creativity: Music & Drama Concert & Arts & Culture Awards 2024

Our school’s community gathered for an inspiring evening on 10th April 2025 to celebrate the incredible talent and dedication of our students at the Music & Drama Concert and Arts & Culture Awards 2024.

The evening opened with a warm welcome from the Headmaster, setting the tone for an event that would honour not only individual achievements but the vibrant spirit of collaboration across our arts community.

🎶 Musical Excellence

A stunning series of performances showcased our students’ musical prowess. From choral works like Sing Alleluia and Poor Wayfaring Stranger to contemporary highlights such as Euphoria and a rousing Jazz Band finale featuring Galway Girl and Man, I Feel Like a Woman, every act radiated passion and precision.

A special mention must go to the Walton’s Music for School Ensemble, who closed the concert with a breathtaking medley of Cuireadh do Mhuire, Let It Be, and Rhythm of Life.

🏆 Awarding Achievement

The ceremony recognised outstanding achievements in both music and drama:

  • Larkin Music Prizes and Distinctions in RIAM & Rock School Exams were awarded to a host of talented students including Orlando Cale-Scourfield, Anfisa Strelchuk, and Sadie Plummer.
