Jake Feeney (Class of 2022) was awarded his Gaisce Gold Award by President Catherine Connolly at The Royal Hospital, Kilmainham. Completing a Gaisce award is a significant achievement and attaining the Gold level is particularly notable.
Jake began his Gaisce journey in Transition Year, developing skills in basketball, karate, coding, cookery and photography. He also established and ran a CoderDojo, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
Academically, Jake graduated with First Class Honours in his degree at Maynooth and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Theoretical Physics in Utrecht.
Jake’s brother, Mike Feeney (Form 6), who is currently working on his Gaisce Silver Award, accompanied him to the ceremony.
We congratulate Jake on this outstanding achievement and celebrate his dedication, skill development and commitment throughout his Gaisce journey.
