Maths Week at The King’s Hospital School was a week filled with excitement, challenges, and creativity, all centered around the wonderful world of numbers. Students from all forms participated enthusiastically, showcasing their problem-solving skills and creativity through various activities organized by the dedicated Maths team.
The week kicked off with engaging quiz sessions that brought out the competitive spirit in Form 1 students, while Form 4 impressed everyone with their creative “Maths Eye” projects and outdoor mathematical activities, blending nature and numbers. The Maggie Gough Competition saw students from Forms 4 and 5 pushing their mathematical skills to new heights, sparking lively competition and learning.
A memorable moment came during Chapel, where the winners of the Numeracy and Literacy poster competition were celebrated, reflecting the school’s emphasis on both mathematical and linguistic excellence. Ms. Geraghty, the event’s key organizer, along with other staff, was instrumental in making this week an engaging and enriching experience for all involved.
Thank you to the students, teachers, and Ms. Geraghty for making Maths Week an unforgettable celebration of academic excellence, teamwork, and joy in learning!
