Aryell Sheedy (Form 6) had a fantastic week representing The King’s Hospital School at Dongling School in Shenzhen, China. Aryell was part of the Irish secondary school delegation that took part in a unique educational and cultural exchange organised by the Confucius Institute Ireland.
During the week, he was fully immersed in school life at Dongling, engaging with students, attending classes and experiencing Chinese learning environments first-hand. The delegation also participated in a wide range of cultural activities, giving students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of Chinese traditions, language, and customs.
This trip provided students with a valuable opportunity to broaden their global perspective and build international friendships. Well done, Aryell — an excellent ambassador for our school!
