Achievement Celebrated by Minister Chambers

Last December, Nathan achieved exceptional success when he won the Graduate.ie Quiz, a prestigious national competition focused on public service, policy and European affairs. His achievement earned him an educational trip to the European Parliament in Strasbourg, where he engaged directly with European institutions and deepened his understanding of EU decision-making. The prize was generously sponsored by the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, whose support made this invaluable learning experience possible.

Following this accomplishment, Nathan met with Minister Jack Chambers at the Minister’s Office in the Department of Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation on Merrion Street. The visit reflected the Department’s continued commitment to encouraging student engagement in public affairs and civic learning.

We were incredibly proud of Nathan’s achievements, his thoughtful approach to learning, and the manner in which he represented The King’s Hospital School on the national stage. His success in the Graduate.ie Quiz highlighted not only his own talent and dedication, but also the strong academic culture and opportunities for meaningful, real-world engagement available to students at KH.
