TY Student Chloe Goes Live on National TV to Represent Creative TY Connections Programme

We’re delighted to celebrate a truly proud moment for our school community! Transition Year student Chloe recently appeared live on national television to discuss her involvement in the Creative TY Connections Programme—an inspiring initiative that brings TY students and adults with intellectual disabilities together in a buddy system designed to build interpersonal, digital, and life skills.

Chloe spoke passionately and confidently about her experience with the programme, representing both her school and her peers with incredible poise. The Creative TY Connections Programme is a collaborative and inclusive educational project delivered through four key modules:

  • Everyday IT

  • Money Management

  • Upskilling for Employment

  • Sustainable Steps

The programme is supported by disability service providers including Stewarts Care, and its focus on mutual learning and connection is a testament to the power of inclusive education.

Chloe’s appearance on national TV not only highlighted the importance of this programme—it also showcased the compassion, commitment, and leadership our students bring to every opportunity.
