In January the Annual Form 2 SciFest took place in the school theatre. The event was visited by staff, students and a SciFest Official.
The King’s Hospital was one of the first secondary schools to begin piloting the programme in 2011. SciFest helps foster an interest in science for young students by having them create a project and then showcase their results. Well done to Mr O’Connor who has been organising the fair since 2011.
Well done to all the entrants today, who really enjoyed showcasing their ideas with staff, students, and judges.

Congratulations to those who won runner up prizes for highly commended projects and effective communication.
Thank you to Sheila Porter from SciFest for judging and presenting the prizes. She was very impressed with the quality and diversity of the projects and how the students communicated them to the judges.
