The King’s Hospital School Delivers a Spellbinding Performance of Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution
The King’s Hospital School brought the courtroom to life with a breathtaking production of Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution on the 26th and 27th of November. This thrilling drama showcased the immense talent of our students, who delivered unforgettable performances and kept the audience enthralled from start to finish.
Ewan McKenna shone as Leonard Vole, the accused, whose fate lay in the balance throughout the gripping courtroom battle. Ava McKenna delivered a standout performance as Romaine, whose testimony proved pivotal in the unfolding drama. The prosecution, led by Alana McIlreavy as Myers and Freya Mangan as Barrister Smith, added intensity and precision to the proceedings, perfectly balancing the scales of justice.
A special congratulations to Aryell Sheedy, whose portrayal of Sir Wilfred Robarts captivated everyone from the first scene to the final bow. Aryell delivered a truly remarkable performance, embodying the character’s wit, strength, and charisma with incredible depth and passion. This role demanded excellence, and Aryell exceeded all expectations, leaving the audience in awe. Bravo, Aryell!
The play was brought to life by a diverse and dynamic cast, including Charlotte Eve as Janet McKensie, Henry Sanderson as Mr. Clegg, and Lucy Tyrell as Dr. Wyatt. Every student involved, from the cast to the jury led by Rhea Nair as Foreperson, gave their all to ensure the success of the production.
