European Parliament Virtual Tour

Earlier this year, we were delighted to be guided by the wonderful Roisin Abbot through a virtual tour of the European Parliament.

This was a unique opportunity for our students to visit the European Parliament by exploring all its facilities, from the outside and also taking a look at some of its rooms.

Our students were taken on a guided virtual tour of the main building and explained how social media is used to inform citizens about the activities of the European Parliament.

The European Parliament is one of the most interactive and open parliaments in Europe.

In this virtual tour through its public rooms, we saw the Palais’ meeting room, the conference hall, the press rooms, and breakfast room.

Thank you so much to Frances Fitzgerald MEP who joined us to take questions from students on topics ranging from teaching consent in schools to how to tackle violence against women.
