Results Update
Congratulations to all the performers and prize winners from the Interschools Musci Festival held over the weekend at Wesley College. The standard was incredibly high and we are very proud of all our students' performances. Prizes were:
Chapel Choir
They took home the David Wilson Cup for SAB choirs. There were 8 choirs in the competition, including Wesley and St.Patrick's Cathedral Grammar School. Here is the video clip of their winning piece https://youtu.be/4FiCv6y1th 'Blessing' Katie Bart.

Solo singing classical, U16:
Grace Adams; Elizabeth Michael both got 1st class honours (very highly commended).
Solo singing popular, U16:
Lara McDonnell, 1st prize
Lily Monaghan, 2nd prize.
Lara and Lily then went on to the rose bowl competition, a sing off between 1st and 2nd prize winners of U16 popular competitions A, B & C.
Byrne Cup
Lara McDonnell Overall winner from 46 competitors.
Solo Singing Classical U17

Piano Solo U17
Harrison also got Highly Commended out of 23 competitors
Ingleside Cup Vocal Duet O15
Sofia Rose Deeleman and Michelle Jordan took home 1st prize. There were 11 entries.
Wooldson Cup Solo Singing Popular O17
Andreï Zündel won a gold medal for the first round of the Woolfson Cup competition. He went on to compete in the final against 7 other winner, of which there is only one winner. The Interschools Music Festival will take place in Wesley College, Dundrum on Friday, March 1st and Saturday March 2nd. Our Chapel Choir will compete on Friday evening at 5.20pm and singing soloists on Saturday at various times throughout the day. Other instrumental soloists will also perform throughout Saturday. The King's Hospital School has a long tradition of successfully competing in this pretigious competition and we wish all the competitors the best of luck!
