Guest speaker Catherine Cleary

Curiosity is the heart of every great story! On Friday, 6th September 2024, we were honored to welcome Catherine Cleary, journalist, author, and broadcaster, as our guest speaker for International Literacy Day ✍️🌠 .

Catherine spoke to all the students at an all-school Chapel, inspiring them with her reflections on the power of listening, staying curious, and turning observations into compelling stories—values that are at the core of our school’s ethos.

Afterward, she had a lively Q&A session with our TY students, discussing a wide range of topics such as the evolving world of journalism, the impact of social media on storytelling, Her Journey as a Journalist, and how curiosity can drive creative careers in writing and journalism.
