Athletics Round-Up

Even though the Athletics season is still in full swing our marvelous students have already represented KH at many events this term. Here are the highlights from the season so far.

Aryell Para Athlete of the Year

Congratulations to Aryell (F4) for his efforts at the inaugural Para and Diversity Games in TUS Athlone. In an impressive display he clinched silver in both the 60-meter para and 200-meter mainstream events.

He was named “Para Athlete of the Year” for 2023 at the IWA Sports awards.

This was a great accomplishment only furthered by the fact that he is the first track athlete to ever receive this award.  Well done Aryell for serving as an inspiration to athletes and students of all backgrounds.

West Leinster Relays

Well done to our Form 2 students Emily, Juliette, Jessica & Emily for their success at the West Leinster Relays event. After a hard ran race the team earned themselves a spot on the podium.
