A Night to Celebrate Excellence

Academic Prize Giving 2025

Last week, we hosted our annual Academic Prize Giving 2025, a memorable evening dedicated to honouring the exceptional achievements of our students across all year groups. The event truly captured the spirit of academic dedication, creativity, and perseverance that defines our school community.

Headmaster Mr Mark Wallace opened the evening with a warm and inspiring welcome, celebrating the collective efforts of students, staff, and supporters. Ms Siobhan Daly once again facilitated the distribution of prizes with grace, recognising each student’s outstanding contributions to the academic life of King’s Hospital.

This year, we were privileged to welcome Dr Victoria Janssens as our guest speaker. Dr Janssens—who attended King’s Hospital from 1998 to 2004—returned with passion and pride to speak to our students. She shared reflections on her own educational journey and offered inspiring insights into pursuing excellence beyond the school gates.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors and community members whose generosity made this event possible, as well as to the staff who worked tirelessly to ensure its success. Together, we celebrated not just individual accomplishment, but the shared pursuit of excellence that unites our school.

Academic Prize Giving 2025 was more than a recognition of achievement—it was a testament to the dedication, curiosity, and determination of our students. We look forward to seeing them continue to shine, both within and beyond our school walls. 💛💙
