A Celebration of Stories: World Book Day at KH

In March 2025, the corridors of KH were alive with characters from every corner of the literary world as we celebrated World Book Day in true style.

Staff delighted students by dressing up as beloved book characters, from timeless classics to contemporary favourites. The creative costumes sparked joy and conversation across the school, reminding us all of the magic found between the pages of a book.

The library hosted a standout event: “Guess Who Comes to Dinner?”—a lively and interactive game where students had to deduce which literary guests were seated at the fictional dinner table. It was a brilliant way to bring books to life and engage students in literary fun.

Adding depth to the week’s festivities was an inspiring talk by guest speaker Amy Clarkin, who shared her personal journey with literature and encouraged students to explore the transformative power of reading.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who took part in making the day such a success. World Book Day may be behind us, but the excitement for reading continues to thrive at KH.
