SciFest 2025 Brings Excitement to KH

This week, we celebrated @scifest4stem 2025 at our school. A special thanks to our esteemed judges, including Sheila Porter, SciFest founder, who faced the challenging task of selecting winners from an outstanding array of projects.

Students showcased their creativity and technical skills, making excellent use of technology to present their work. We commend all participants for their hard work and dedication, and a big thank you to our staff for fostering a passion for science and innovation.

Congratulations to our prize winners: • Best Project: ‘How Different Food Combinations Affect Digestion’ by Lily McDonagh • Runner Up: ‘Does Acidity and Density of Liquids Affect Conductivity of Electricity?’ by Teegan Taylor, Veronica Beghiu, and Olga Pienkowska • Physics Award: ‘Shape of Aeroplanes’ by Matthew Cameron, Liam Twomey, and Ruan O’Carroll • Mallinckrodt STEM Excellence Award: ‘Do Newer Phones Charge Faster?’ by Louis Masterson and Kenny • Environmental Award: ‘Soil Moisture Test’ by Harry Greene and Adam UaBruadair
