Intellectual Property Workshop
At The King’s Hospital School, we believe in equipping our students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. Today, our Transition Year (TY) students had the incredible opportunity to explore the fascinating world of intellectual property in a workshop led by the Intellectual Property Office of Ireland.
The session offered a deep dive into critical concepts like trademarks, branding, and intellectual property (IP) rights. Students learned how these elements play a pivotal role in protecting ideas, fostering innovation, and building successful businesses.
Interactive and engaging, the workshop encouraged students to think critically about how creativity and innovation intersect with legal protections and business strategy. They explored real-world examples of IP in action and discussed how these principles apply to aspiring entrepreneurs, artists, and future leaders.
A huge thank you to the Intellectual Property Office of Ireland for delivering such a thought-provoking and empowering session. Workshops like these inspire our students to dream big and arm them with the practical tools to turn those dreams into reality.
This experience has planted the seeds for innovation, helping our students understand the value of their ideas and how to safeguard them for future success.
Here’s to fostering the next generation of creators, inventors, and leaders! Keep an eye out for more updates as our TY students continue to explore exciting new horizons.
