A Night to Celebrate Excellence: Academic Prize Giving 2024
Last week, we hosted our annual Academic Prize Giving, a night dedicated to honoring the exceptional achievements of our students across various year groups. The event captured the spirit of academic dedication, creativity, and perseverance that defines our school community.
Acting Headmaster Cormac Ua Bruadair opened the evening with a warm and inspiring welcome, celebrating the collective efforts of students, staff, and supporters. Ms. Siobhan Daly gracefully facilitated the distribution of prizes, recognizing each student’s outstanding contributions to our school’s academic life.
This year, we were privileged to welcome Stephen Shortt as our guest speaker. Stephen, a renowned advocate for helping individuals and organizations find more fulfilling and rewarding career paths, shared his insights on embracing challenges and pursuing personal and professional growth. Drawing on his extensive experience with family businesses, talent development, and global competitions, Stephen captivated the audience with a message of resilience, adaptability, and the importance of aligning passion with purpose. His keynote left a lasting impression, inspiring students to consider how their academic journey connects to future possibilities.
