Form 6 Geography Students Dive into Coastal Learning at Killiney Beach

At The King’s Hospital School, we believe that some of the most valuable lessons happen outside the classroom. Recently, our Form 6 Geography students had the chance to put this into practice during their Geographical Investigation at Killiney Beach.

With the stunning coastal landscape as their backdrop, students explored key geographical processes such as coastal deposition and transportation, applying theoretical knowledge to the real world. They observed the forces of nature at work, learning firsthand how the coastline is shaped and transformed over time.

After a productive day of fieldwork, the students capped off the experience with a refreshing swim in the sea. This perfect blend of education and enjoyment exemplifies our commitment to creating dynamic and engaging learning opportunities.

By taking learning into the field, our Geography students not only deepened their understanding of important concepts, but also created memories that will last a lifetime.
