Joint music lessons are offered weekly from September to May each year. Students leave one subject class each week by rotation, for a total of 29 lessons.
Students are put forward for the Royal Irish Academy of Music grade examinations in the summer. Please note that there will be an additional fee for the RIAM examination - you will be notified when payment is due in early 2025.
Payment can be made in full or in two instalments (August and January). If you apply for lessons, you will be charged for the full year. Only circumstances concerning illness, accident or departure from the school may be considered for exemption. Form 1 or new students to the school may opt to discontinue lessons for the second half of the year providing notice is given to Mr. Kelly in writing by the 31st October 2024.
Please note that joint lessons are available for the following instruments/subjects: drums, guitar, singing, violin and saxophone. The availability will depend also on the number of students signing up to each instrument/subject. We will notify you as soon as possible if your chosen instrument is only available for individual lessons.
