Parent & Student Apps
SIMS Parent App
The SIMS (School Information Management System) Parent App is a communication platform used to share information with parents/ guardians about their children’s school life. It allows parents to access real-time data, including student conduct, reports and timetables, through a mobile app or website.
What do I need to register for the SIMS Parent App?
Before beginning the registration process, you will need the following:
The registration email that contains registration link and an invitation code. This email will be sent from ESS SIMS (noreply@sims.co.uk). If you cannot find this
email, please check your junk mail and ensure it has not been marked as spam/junk. You will be asked to input the date of birth of one of your children enrolled in the school. It doesn’t matter which child. The email invite will contain a user guide. Your email address will become your username and you create your own password.
You can access the APP through your browser on a laptop, tablet or pc using www.sims-parent.co.uk and by downloading the Android or Apple APP. There is an option to log in through your social media, google or outlook accounts but we recommend logging in with your email that is on file with the school, and clicking the SIMS tile.
If you have difficulty with the APP please email IT@thekingshospital.ie for assistance. If left unactivated your invite will expire, email IT to reactivate and a new invitation will be sent. The following reports and information are only accessible through the APP so please activate your account as soon as you receive the invitation.
What can only be accessed through the SIMS App?
- Class Timetable
- Weekly behaviour
- Merits & Demerits
- School reports
- Effort Marks
- Exam Reports
- Mock Reports (F3 & F6)
- Sports & ECA Reports
We are working on upgrading the SIMS APP to bring you other features.
SOCS is a Co-Curricular Web-based App that allows all your children’s activites to be scheduled, show weekly fixtures and team sheets, and allows staff to record attendance for training, matches and travel. Students should also download the student version of the App to stay aware of match times, teamsheets, and changes to their activity schedules.
All students are asked to activate their account before school starts as ECA staff will hold a digital induction in the first week back. Any queries please email sports@thekingshospital.ie.
