Special Needs Assistant (SNA)
The Board of Management of The King’s Hospital School welcomes applications for the post of Special Needs Assistant. This appointment is a full time one-year fixed term King’s Hospital School Privately Funded SNA role, and all applicants will complete Medical Fitness and Vetting Disclosure from National Vetting Bureau. Candidates must be qualified as per Department of Education guidelines for SNAs. Experience to include but is not limited to, care needs, Moderate General Learning Disabilities, Autistic Spectrum Disorder, and behavioural challenges. The successful candidate needs to be flexible, self-motivated and demonstrate positive interpersonal and communication skills. The King’s Hospital School is a fee-paying co-educational day and boarding voluntary school with a current enrolment of 720 pupils, under the trusteeship of The Church of Ireland. Located in Palmerstown, Dublin 20.

School Nurse Job-Share
The King’s Hospital School is inviting applications for a qualified Nurse to join our dedicated Nursing team on a job-share basis. The School Nurse provides a service to students and staff in a post primary school setting. In the boarding school setting the nurse provides 24 hr cover. The nurse has surgery times during the day and is on call during the night. The aim of the nurse is to deliver healthcare to improve the physical and emotional welfare of the students. The School Nurse promotes and supports a healthy school environment while performing many roles.
