Six KH TY students received a certificate from Maynooth University in recognition of receiving an A Grade in Business Studies in the Junior Certificate. The Business Studies paper is a long and difficult one and a tough one to achieve an A grade in . Only two students were allowed to attend the ceremony so Richard Beattie and Saoirse White represented their classmates along with teacher Fiona Ryan. The other recipients were:
