King’s Hospital Drama Students take a Grade examination with the Royal Irish Academy of Music and Drama at the end of the academic year. Areas of examination vary according to the specific Grade or subject taken, these include; Monologues, Poetry, Prose, Mime, Improvisation, Public Speaking and Theory.

RIAM 2016 Results:
83 Students took their Speech and Drama Exams in May 2016. All students achieved 84% or above.
9 Distinctions – 90-100%
74 Honours – 80-89%
Congratulations to Lauryn Canny who has been awarded a ‘High Achiever Award’ by the Academy in recognition of her outstanding performance in the examination.
