Some Form 1 Book Club members attended the cbi Book of The Year Awards in Smock Alley. Photos in this link:- https://www.irishexaminer.com/breakingnews/ireland/belfast-author-makes-history-by-winning-three-gongs-at-childrens-book-ireland-awards-926108.html

The most read title for students (Jr and Sr) was The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas.  Probably because the film was premiered during the year (and Form 5 Book Club members attended).

After that, the Jenny Hans were really popular with Form 1.  Form 2 enjoyed the Great Reads Award shortlist:- Bank by Emma Quigley, Tin by Padraig Kenny & Flying Tips for Flightless Birds by Kelly McCaughrain.

Form 3: Robert Muchamore (again!).

TY: S.T.A.G.S. by M A Bennett (GRA winner) and Asking for it by Louise O'Neill.

Form 5: Tokyo Ghoul by Ishida Sui (Novels and Graphic Novels) and Nineteen Eighty Four by George Orwell.

Form 6: mostly non-fiction for LC but also Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs!

Titles enjoyed by staff were:- Educated by Tara Westover, This is Going to Hurt by Adam Kay, and Milkman by Anna Burns.
