Charter Day Celebrations 2017

Mon 4th Dec 2017

Our Charter Day celebrations took on a whole new format this year based on collaborative input from the Student Council & Staff. This year's celebrations began with a special Chapel Service for the entire school at 10am with music from the Chapel Choir & Orchestra. This was followed by members of the Student Council, Luke Harriss & Cian O'Dowd, bringing the school's charter and history to life, with their entertaining and very animated dualogue. The icing on the cake (pardon the pun) was KH-themed cupcakes and cake for all the staff and students after Chapel, which was definitely cause for celebration. The Academic Prize Giving and traditional Headmaster's Charter Day speech took place that evening in the Wilson Wright Hall. The day was a great success and there was a great feeling of school spirit throughout. We will definintely build on this new format for the coming years.
