Applied Maths Competition Finalists

On Wednesday, 21 January  the first Junior Problem Solving Quiz, hosted by the IAMTA, was held in a number of venues around the country. The quiz covered all aspects of the Mathematics and Physics Junior Certificate curricula. Each school can enter a maximum of two teams, with each team consisting of four students from either Third Year or Transition Year.  KH sent two teams of four students. One of the Teams came second and as they had the highest score of all the runners up that entered regionally were selected  to participate in the All-Ireland Final in Portlaoise on March 10th. 

The finalists are:

Abdul Rabiu (TY), Dmytro Kasianenko (TY), Aimee Tobin (F3), Nicky Giles (F3)
